Managed IT

Managed IT & Support for Ventura County Businesses

Reliable technology without the daily IT headaches. Hawk manages the workstations, networks and devices your business depends on, whether in the office, on the jobsite, on the production floor or in the warehouse, so your team can stay focused on the work.

What's / Included

Six things, done consistently.

What ongoing managed IT with Hawk covers. Billed monthly, with one-time projects quoted separately.

Proactive monitoring

Automated monitoring watches servers, workstations and networks 24/7 and flags problems early, so small issues get fixed before they turn into downtime.

Remote & on-site support

Help when something breaks — remote support first, and on-site visits when the problem needs hands on the hardware.

Endpoint management

Every workstation, laptop, tablet and shared device set up, secured and tracked the same way, so nothing falls through the cracks.

Patch management

Windows, Microsoft 365 and the business software you run every day kept current — closing security gaps without breaking your workflow.

Technology planning

A roadmap for hardware refreshes, renewals and growth, reviewed with you so technology costs are planned instead of surprises.

Vendor management

We deal with ISPs, software vendors and hardware suppliers on your behalf, so you’re not the one on hold.

Why It Matters

Built around how your business actually works.

A design firm pushing large Revit models, a machine shop running CAD/CAM and a distributor keeping scanners and shipping stations online all need dependable IT, but not the same IT.

  • Workstations specced for CAD, BIM and engineering software — not off-the-shelf office PCs.
  • Support that extends past the office to jobsites, production floors and warehouses.
  • Business data backed up and protected, so a crash or ransomware attack doesn’t take critical files with it.

FAQ

Common questions about managed IT.

What does managed IT actually include?

24/7 automated monitoring of your servers, workstations and network; remote and on-site support; device setup and patch management; vendor management; and a technology roadmap reviewed with you regularly — as a predictable monthly service instead of a break-fix invoice every time something goes wrong.

How is managed IT priced?

Ongoing managed IT is billed monthly. Pricing depends on your number of users and devices, your locations and how much on-site support you need. One-time projects, such as network upgrades, migrations or workstation rollouts, are quoted separately. Request a consultation and we’ll give you a real number after reviewing your environment.

Do you support CAD, BIM and engineering software?

Yes. We spec and maintain workstations for Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other CAD and engineering tools, tune file performance for large models, and coordinate licensing and application issues with the software vendor.

What happens when something breaks?

Outages — a server down, a team locked out — are treated as top priority. Monitoring often flags a problem before anyone calls, and we work remotely first, then on-site when the fix needs hands on the hardware.

Do you support jobsites, warehouses and production areas?

Yes. Device and connectivity support extend beyond the office — jobsite trailers, field tablets, warehouse devices and production-area workstations are part of the same managed environment.
